The team win a deserved second title in two seasons

Sporting Clube de Portugal were crowned two-time Liga Portugal champions after beating Vitória SC 2-0 at the Estádio José Alvalade, winning the title on the 34th matchday of the season.

It is the first time that the club have retained a title in 71 years (1952/1953-1953/1954).

They topped the table in 31 of the 34 matchdays, closing the competition with 82 points, 25 wins, 7 draws and only 2 defeats. Sporting CP also stood out as the team with the most goals scored (88) and the fewest conceded (27).

Viktor Gyökeres was the top goalscorer in 2024/25 League with 39, and Francisco Trincão was the best assist provider, with 14.
