The group train on Sunday

After the victory over AS Monaco in the Troféu Cinco Violinos, Sporting Clube de Portugal returned to training on Sunday.

The starters from the match carried out their usual recovery work, while the other members of the squad completed another demanding training session on the pitch at the Academia Cristiano Ronaldo.

The group, led by coach Rui Borges, will now take a day off, returning to training on Tuesday morning to prepare for their next preseason commitment.

The next game for the team is on Friday against Nottingham Forest, at the Estádio Algarve.
